Popcorn Chairperson(s) Needed!

We are looking for a couple of volunteers to run the Troop Popcorn program this fall. Marianne Baetz has been the popcorn Chair since she joined the Troop, and we'd like to get some others involved. So, if we could get 2 people that were willing to work on this for us, that would be great. The first Council meeting is on Saturday,
August 29
. There are 3 45-minute sessions during the morning, and we need to have someone from the Troop attend one of those in order to earn additional commissions from our sales. I will forward the details along to whomever can handle this for us.

Basically, the responsibilities are -

1) Handing out materials to the Scouts at a Troop meeting.
2) Timely collection of all orders and placing orders on-line through Trails End web site
3) Ordering Show n Sell popcorn and coordinating locations we can sell in town (i.e., Stop n Shop)
4) Staffing the Show n Sell sales days
5) Coordination of popcorn pick-up and distribution
6) Monitoring of payments and follow-ups, working with the Treasurer Maria Gramieri
