Update from Big Pine Key!
Here is the latest update on the boys, from Al Baetz on the Misty Shoals, via Marianne Baetz -
Both boats are currently anchored about 100 feet apart in Big Pine Bay for the night. The ride up from Key West was rough but it calmed down and they got in two dives. The first thing they saw on the dive was a barracuda. Alex enjoyed playing with the jelly fish and Al said the fish were unbelievable. Al and Neal snorkeled so much that Al’s back is burnt to a crisp. They ate dinner and started to fish. Rob caught a type of Tuna, which is not good eating so it was thrown back. The plan from here is to head up north and get in a least 3 different dives tomorrow. The background sounds on the boat lead me to believe everyone is having a blast!!!
